Autumn at Il Poggio degli Olivi in Bettona is linked to one of the most important moments of the year: the olive harvest and the arrival of new oil.
It is the moment when the estate's olive trees become the stars and the internal oil mill returns to the center of the Relais's life, accompanying one of the most authentic rituals of Umbrian tradition.
From October 1st to November 15th, you can experience this season with a stay designed to savor every moment: from the welcome drink with tasting of new oil to dinner at our Osteria Di Vin Porcello, winner of 4 Ristoranti – Sulla Via dell’Olio, up to the breakfast the following morning.
Staying at Poggio allows you to dedicate the right time to this experience, among the flavors of the territory and the possibility (upon reservation) to add a guided tour of the internal oil mill (extra service), to learn more closely about the process that leads from freshly picked olives to the extra virgin oil served at our table.
